I think it's an overlapping problem, I've had the same issues with mods not downloading. ) People will be able to help you more directly, instead of hijacking a different case. If this is not the issue you're having, please make your own thread. Never had this issues before! Hopefully someone notices something, the only thing I can say, before whilst starting the game via the steam play button, sometimes it showed an update screen, this I have not seen since the latest update. At this point the tool will automatically install and update SteamCMD, which will then download the game server program as well as any mod you have. But how to use a mod if the keyboard shorcuts are not activated and their menus are gone? Something is wrong but I don't think it's at user side, more something to do with Steam. Originally posted by tribalhot:Mine are downloaded but randomly work or not work in game, before it was ResizeIt that wasn't working, after complete game delete, boot and reinstalling the game, now the only mod that works in game is reszite it, all looks perfectly fine, mods are installed and show up in the games options menu. Reporting it Paradox won't help, the problem is on Steam's end. It's not caused by the actual game, it's a bug in the Steam Client. This is an issue that currently affects all Workshop games. Normally this file is moved to the Workshop folder once completed, but because it's corrupt Steam doesn't recognize it and it stays in the Downloads folder. All you'll be deleting is a temporary file that's stored during the download. This will not affect your game, saves or workshop items. Delete the folder with the mod's SteamID. Hover over the "Missing Download Files" text and note the Steam ID. go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop.Ĥ. Manually : Download a map with steamworkshopdownloader. Close down steam completely (so Steam > Exit in the upper left menu),Ģ. Put a Steam workshop url in the text field. If you've got the Missing Downloaded Files error, try this. If so, it's a corrupted temp download file. Is the download stuck there? Perhaps with a "Missing Downloaded Files" error? For some reason having the numberchain and underscore force uninstalls mods but renaming it lets it go through. In the Steam Client, check the Downloads page. All you have to do is put the downloaded files in the mod folder and rename the extracted mods' folder to remove the numberchain and underscore at the beginning of the file name.
